- Shaving cream
- Food dye
- Foam beads
So this is what my daughter calls “Rice krispy slime”, perhaps due to the texture but my guess is more so because it does resemble a “popping” noise when poked.
She started out by adding some glue (as much as you prefer- 1/4 of a 7 oz. bottle) to a medium sized bowl, after adding the glue, she added a little lotion..maybe 1/2 to a whole tbsp., then she mixed it up and added some drops of food coloring. She then added about 1/4 cup of Tide laundry detergent and it began to take shape. After that was mixed in, it was a bit on the sticky side so she added a little less than 1/4 cup of Tide and it began to get less sticky.
After mixing that up, she felt it was time to dive in and do the dirty work. So she sat it on a clean, flat surface and began slowly kneading it with her hands (if its still a bit too sticky, begin kneading faster). After she felt the slime was soft, stretchy and not sticky, she added some glitter of various colors and began to knead that in. She added some silver, dark blue and finally some light blue.
For some foamy-crunchy slime, she added some of these foam beads in at the time of adding glitter and sparklez.
For the fluffy slime, she added the shaving cream (by eyeballing it) in at the same time as the lotion and food dye!
That’s it! Hope you enjoyed and have fun with this recipe!
